About the Stingrays

We are currently the 10-and-under tournament team of BRYC Softball, based in Fairfax County, Virginia. Our players come from Annandale, Burke, Springfield, Fairfax, and many other locations around the county.

Our team offers girls the opportunity to experience softball on a highly competitive level against teams throughout the DC metropolitan area and mid-Atlantic region.

We provide our players the opportunity to experience softball in an atmosphere that encourages and promotes teamwork, friendship, and good sportsmanship.

We will be moving to 11u starting September 2010.  Want to be part of the Stingrays?  Come to our tryouts on August 7, 10, or 14.

Virginia:  No. 1 USSSA C level team in Virginia (July 18, 2010)
US National:  No. 18 USSSA C level team nationally (July 18, 2010)
Second Place VA ASA Level B Championship (July 11, 2010)
Second Place USSSA Mid-Atlantic Championship (July 18, 2010)

Tryouts for the 2010 - 2011 season will be at Rutherford Park, field #1:

• August 7:  10:00 to 11:30 for all players
• August 7:  11:30 to 12:30 for pitchers and catchers
• August 10:  6:00 to 8:00 for all players
• August 14:  10:00 to 11:30 for all players
• August 14:  11:30 to 12:30 for pitchers and catchers

Interested players with 1999 or 2000 birthdates may choose which tryout to attend.  The team will play at the 11u level starting Fall 2010.  If you are unable to make the try-outs dates posted, please contact Jim Pendergast at BRYCSoftballJim@aol.com to schedule a tryout.
